ANALISIS SEISMISITAS GEMPABUMI SEDANG DI WILAYAH SULAWESI PADA BULAN FEBRUARI 2022 MENGGUNAKAN ANALISA SEISCOMP3

Abstrak

ABSTRACT: Has been research that aims to determine the level of the moderate seismicity in the PGR IV Makassar region with SeisComp3 analysis in February 2022. The earthquake data used is secondary data from 1 to 28 February 2022 obtained from BMKG with data processing parameters consisting of points coordinates, depth, magnitude, and time of occurrence. Moderato earthquake, if the depth of the hypocenter is between 60 Km to 300 Km from the earth’s surface. Based on SeisComp3 analysis, the seismicity level on the moderate earthquake in February 2022 was 17 events. Moderate earthquake in February dominater around the Gorontalo fault. Gorontalo, which is one of the areas prone to earthquakes and is tectonically located at the confluence of two large plates, namely the Pacific and Eurasian plates and the micro plates. Gorontalo fault is a large fault that cuts a large area of Gorontalo city and crosses Limboto lake. The Gorontalo fault has an average direction of N 1250 E/N 3050 E where the main fault which was originally formed as a dextrak fault in the late Neogene, is then reactived as a sinistral fault.
