PEER-REVIEW PROCESS

All manuscripts submitted to Teknosains: Media Informasi Sains dan Teknologi undergo a rigorous and objective peer review process to ensure scientific quality and originality. The journal employs a double-blind review system, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other to maintain impartiality and prevent conflicts of interest.

The review process includes the following steps:

  • Initial screening by the editorial team to assess the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s scope and completeness of submission requirements.
  • Evaluation by two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
  • Assessment of the manuscript’s substance, methodology, novelty, and scientific contribution.
  • Reviewer recommendations may include acceptance without revision, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
  • Final decision is made by the editorial board based on reviewer feedback and the author’s revisions.

The entire review process is conducted electronically through the journal’s online submission system and typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the manuscript and the responsiveness of the authors.
