Peer Reviewer Process
ComWel: International Journal of Economic and Business Empowerment implements a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published articles.
The journal employs a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process. This policy helps ensure an objective, fair, and unbiased evaluation of each manuscript.
The peer-review process consists of the following stages:
- Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial assessment to determine whether the manuscript aligns with the journal’s focus and scope, complies with the author guidelines, and meets basic academic and ethical standards. - Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area. - Review Process
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including originality, significance of the research, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, validity of results, quality of discussion, and contribution to the field of economic and business empowerment. - Reviewer Recommendations
After completing their evaluation, reviewers provide recommendations to the editor. The recommendations may include:- Accept Submission
- Minor Revisions Required
- Major Revisions Required
- Reject Submission
- Author Revision
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments and recommendations. Revised manuscripts should be accompanied by a detailed response explaining how each comment has been addressed. - Final Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief or assigned editor reviews the revised manuscript and reviewers’ recommendations before making the final publication decision.
Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, provide objective and constructive feedback, declare any potential conflicts of interest, and complete reviews within the specified timeframe. All information contained in submitted manuscripts must be treated as confidential and must not be used for personal advantage or disclosed to third parties.
Through this peer-review process, ComWel seeks to maintain high academic standards and contribute to the dissemination of reliable and impactful research in the fields of economics, business, and community empowerment.
