Post-Publication Discussion
At MaPan: Jurnal Matematika dan Pembelajaran, we believe that scholarly discourse extends beyond the initial publication. To maintain scientific integrity and foster open academic exchange, we support and facilitate Post-Publication Discussion (PPD) among readers, authors, and the editorial board.
- Objective of PPD
This platform is designed to host constructive critiques, methodological clarifications, updates with new replicating data, or legitimate corrections regarding published articles. All discussions must strictly maintain an academic, objective, and respectful tone.
- How to Submit Feedback (For Readers)
- Researchers and readers can submit formal comments, queries, or intellectual critiques regarding a published paper via our editorial office at [email protected] with the subject line: PPD Submission - [Article Title/DOI].
- Submissions will undergo an initial screening by the Editorial Board to ensure relevance, scientific merit, and adherence to professional ethics.
- Editor-Author Collaboration and Response Process
- If a submission raises substantial scientific questions, the Editor will forward the query to the Corresponding Author.
- The Editor and the Author will engage in an internal discussion to review the critique and formulate a comprehensive, evidence-based response.
- Authors are expected to submit their formal response within [e.g., 14 or 30] working days from the date of notification.
- Publication of the Discussion
- Once approved by the Editor, the author’s formal response will be linked and published alongside the original article as a Comment/Reply or Correspondence.
- If the discussion reveals unintended errors that do not affect the main conclusions of the study, a formal Correction or Erratum will be issued in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
We encourage the global research community to actively participate in this process to uphold the rigorous standards of scientific truth.
