Plagiarism Policy

Al GIZZAI: Public Health Nutrition Journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity and originality in scholarly publishing. The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and improper use of previously published materials.

1. Similarity Screening

All submitted manuscripts are screened for textual similarity using Turnitin before proceeding to peer review. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 15%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned for revision or rejected.

A similarity score of 15% or below does not automatically guarantee originality. The editorial team also evaluates the nature and context of identified similarities.

2. Author Responsibilities

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, properly cite all sources, accurately acknowledge others' contributions, and avoid unauthorized reproduction of previously published content.

3. Plagiarism Violations

Manuscripts containing confirmed plagiarism may be rejected at any stage of the editorial process. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal may issue a correction or retract the article in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

Al GIZZAI: Public Health Nutrition Journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward deliberate plagiarism and upholds ethical standards in scientific publishing.
