Copyright Notice

Contemporary English Teaching and Linguistics (CETL) recognizes the importance of protecting both the rights of authors and the accessibility of scholarly research. The journal adopts a copyright and licensing policy designed to ensure that authors retain ownership of their work while enabling the widest possible dissemination under international open access standards.

Author Copyright Retention

Authors who publish with CETL retain full copyright of their work. By submitting a manuscript, authors agree to grant the journal the right of first publication under an open access model. This arrangement allows authors to maintain ownership and reuse their work for personal, academic, or professional purposes, including teaching, conference presentations, institutional reports, or subsequent publications, provided that the original article is properly cited as the first source of publication.

  • To reproduce, distribute, and publicly display their work in any format.
  • To deposit a copy of the published article in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal websites.
  • To reuse the content of their articles for educational and research purposes, including teaching, scholarly books, and future articles.
