Abstract

This thesis discusses the R eview of Islamic Law on efforts to increase the empowerment of mustahik through the zakat village program in Kahayya Village, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency. This study aims to describe how the efforts to implement the Zakat Village in Kahayya Village and related to how the increase in Mustahik After the existence of the Zakat Village in Kahayya Village, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency.

This type of research is included in Qualitative research using a normative theological approach (Syar'i) is an approach to a problem based on Islamic Law for provisions that analyze the provisions of the Law taken from the Qur'an and hadith on the problem. Furthermore, the data sources are primary data and secondary data. Then the data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data processing and analysis techniques are carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions.

The results of the study show that 1) In the effort to implement the Kampung Zakat program in Kahayya Village, there are several fields that are the program, namely the education sector, health sector, humanitarian sector, Da'wah sector, and economic sector. 2) the form of support from informal figures in the development of the Kampung Zakat program in Kahayya Village. a) assisting in the development of both human resources and natural resources. b) inviting the community to participate in Kampung Zakat activities or programs. c) Participating in Kampung Zakat program activities.

The implications of this study are 1) the author hopes that the Kampung Zakat program in Community Empowerment Efforts in terms of training in several fields is carried out two to three times to maximize the program, then a re-assessment is carried out regarding the National Zakat Index assessment to determine the success of the Kampung Zakat program. 2) Informal figures in Kahayya Village hopefully it can maximize its role in the development of the Zakat Village program so that the objectives of the program can be achieved.
