QaḍāuNā: Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Hukum Keluarga Islam is an initiative of Hukum Keluarga Islam Department, Faculty of Syariah and Law Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar. It aims primarily to facilitate students and/or scholarly discussions over current developments on legal issues in Indonesia as well as to publish innovative legal researches concerning Indonesian laws and legal system.
QaḍāuNā: Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Hukum Keluarga Islam welcomes original, high-quality scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge, theoretical development, and contemporary legal discourse, particularly in Islamic family law, Islamic jurisprudence, and related fields of law. The journal accepts two principal types of manuscripts: Original Research Articles and Review Articles.
Original Research Articles present novel findings derived from empirical or normative legal research employing appropriate qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, juridical-normative, juridical-empirical, comparative, historical, or socio-legal approaches. These manuscripts must clearly articulate research objectives, relevant theoretical frameworks, research methodologies, findings, critical discussions, and conclusions that demonstrate a meaningful contribution to existing legal scholarship.
Review Articles provide comprehensive, systematic, and critical analyses of existing literature, legal doctrines, judicial decisions, regulations, and scholarly debates concerning Islamic law and contemporary legal issues. Such articles should move beyond descriptive summaries by identifying research gaps, evaluating contrasting perspectives, synthesizing relevant evidence, and offering original interpretations or theoretical insights. All submitted manuscripts must demonstrate originality, academic relevance, methodological rigor, analytical depth, and compliance with the journal's focus and scope. Manuscripts addressing Islamic family law, marriage, divorce, inheritance, waqf, Islamic legal institutions, constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, administrative law, economic law, customary law, environmental law, and other contemporary legal issues may be considered for publication.
Each submission must be written in accordance with the journal's author guidelines, must not have been previously published, and must not be under consideration by another journal. All eligible manuscripts undergo preliminary editorial screening, similarity checking, and a double-blind peer-review process to ensure scholarly quality and publication ethics. The Editorial Board reserves the right to determine the suitability of submitted manuscripts and make final publication decisions based on their academic merit, originality, relevance, and compliance with the journal's editorial policies.
QaḍāuNā: Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Hukum Keluarga Islam seeks to promote rigorous legal research, encourage interdisciplinary scholarly contributions, and strengthen the dissemination of knowledge in Islamic family law and contemporary legal studies.
