Post Publication Discussion

Qadauna: Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Hukum Keluarga Islam is committed to promoting transparency, academic integrity, and continuous scholarly dialogue through constructive post-publication discussion. The journal recognizes that scholarly communication extends beyond the publication of research articles and encourages authors, readers, researchers, and academic communities to critically engage with published findings, interpretations, methodologies, and conclusions.

In accordance with the ethical principles and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the journal welcomes post-publication comments, scholarly critiques, responses, and discussions that contribute to the advancement of knowledge, particularly in Islamic family law and related legal disciplines. Readers who identify potential errors, methodological limitations, ethical concerns, or significant issues in published articles are encouraged to communicate their observations to the editorial team through the journal's official communication channels. All submissions concerning published research will be evaluated objectively, fairly, and professionally, with due consideration given to the accuracy, relevance, and supporting evidence presented.

Authors of the articles concerned will be provided with an opportunity to respond to substantive criticisms or allegations before editorial decisions are made. Where necessary, the editorial team may consult independent experts, request additional clarification, or initiate further investigation to ensure the reliability and integrity of the scholarly record. Depending on the nature and significance of the issues identified, appropriate editorial actions may include publishing author responses, scholarly commentaries, corrections, expressions of concern, or article retractions in accordance with established publication ethics guidelines.

The journal will ensure that post-publication discussions remain respectful, evidence-based, academically relevant, and free from personal attacks, defamatory statements, or unethical conduct. Any corrections or editorial notices affecting published articles will be clearly identified and appropriately linked to the original publications to maintain transparency and accessibility.

Through this policy, Qadauna: Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Hukum Keluarga Islam seeks to foster responsible academic discourse, encourage constructive scientific criticism, strengthen accountability among researchers, and preserve the credibility, accuracy, and long-term reliability of published scholarly works.
