Author Fees

Sociality: Journal of Public Health Service is committed to promoting the dissemination of high-quality research in public health. To support its open-access publishing system and to maintain the quality of editorial management, peer review, copyediting, and production services, the journal applies an article processing charge (APC) under the following policy:

An APC of IDR 300,000 or USD 20.00 will be charged only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

This fee is intended to help cover essential publishing and operational costs while ensuring that manuscripts undergo a timely, rigorous, and high-quality editorial and peer-review process. The journal remains committed to maintaining affordability and reducing financial barriers for authors.

Authors from low-income countries and developing countries, as well as authors experiencing genuine financial hardship, may request a partial or full waiver of the publication fee. Such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the editorial office, taking into account the author’s institutional support, country of origin, and financial circumstances. The evaluation of waiver requests will not affect the editorial decision-making process, and all manuscripts will be assessed solely on their academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

The journal encourages authors who require financial consideration or assistance with publication charges to contact the editorial office at the time of submission or after acceptance.
