Article Publication Charge (APC)
ETERNAL is committed to maintaining an accessible and transparent publication process for authors. The journal does not charge a submission fee. Authors may submit their manuscripts without any payment.
For manuscripts accepted for publication, ETERNAL applies an Article Publication Charge (APC) of IDR 1.000,000 (One million Indonesian rupiah) per article.
No Submission Fee
There is no fee for manuscript submission or initial editorial consideration. Authors are not required to make any payment when submitting a manuscript.
The submission of a manuscript and its consideration for peer review are independent of the author's ability or willingness to pay publication charges.
Article Publication Charge
The APC of IDR 1.000,000 per accepted article is payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process and has received a formal acceptance decision.
The APC supports the journal's publication activities, including:
- editorial and production services;
- copyediting and manuscript preparation;
- online publication;
- website and journal platform maintenance;
- DOI and article metadata management; and
- long-term digital preservation and accessibility.
Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their scholarly quality, relevance to ETERNAL's aims and scope, originality, methodological or conceptual rigor, and contribution to the field.
When Is the APC Payable?
Authors should not make any APC payment at the time of submission.
The publication charge becomes applicable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. The editorial office will provide the necessary payment information and instructions following acceptance.
If a manuscript is rejected, no APC is payable.
Waivers and Discounts
ETERNAL's standard APC is IDR 600,000 per accepted article. Authors who experience genuine financial difficulties may contact the editorial office to discuss a possible partial or full waiver. Any waiver request will be considered separately from the editorial and peer-review process.
Requests for financial assistance will have no effect on the editorial evaluation or publication decision.
Transparency and Editorial Independence
ETERNAL maintains a clear separation between publication charges and editorial decision-making. Payment of an APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication, and editorial decisions are not based on an author's ability or willingness to pay.
Authors should rely only on the official ETERNAL website and communications from the Editorial Office for information concerning publication charges.
