Proposed Standard: IEEE Referencing Style — Subject to Editorial Confirmation

For consistency, Jurnal MSA should apply one referencing system throughout the manuscript, official template, and author instructions.

Under the proposed IEEE standard, in-text citations use sequential reference numbers enclosed in square brackets.

Examples:

  • Single source: [1]

  • Multiple sources: [2], [3]

  • Consecutive sources: [4]–[6]

The reference list must be numbered according to the order in which sources first appear in the manuscript.

Each bibliographic entry should include sufficient publication information, such as author names, article or book title, publication venue, volume, issue, page range, publication year, and DOI when available.

Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or other compatible applications.

All cited sources must appear in the reference list, and all listed references must be cited in the manuscript.

DOIs and URLs should be accurate and accessible whenever available.

Editorial note: The final reference style must be confirmed by the Editorial Board and applied consistently across the journal's official manuscript templates and website.

13. Required Submission Documents

Authors must prepare and submit the required files through the Jurnal MSA online submission system.

The required documents include:

  1. Main Manuscript: The complete article prepared according to the official journal template.

  2. Statement of Originality: A declaration confirming the originality of the manuscript and compliance with publication ethics.

  3. Supporting Documents: Additional materials when applicable or requested by the Editorial Board.

The Statement of Originality is mandatory. Manuscripts submitted without this document may be declined during the initial editorial screening.

All uploaded files must be complete, readable, and properly identified.

14. Submission Metadata

Authors must ensure that the information entered into the online submission system is accurate and consistent with the manuscript.

Required metadata include the article title, author names, institutional affiliations, corresponding author's email address, abstract, and keywords.

Authors must verify the accuracy of all metadata before completing the submission process.

Any changes in authorship or other significant metadata after submission must be communicated to the Editorial Board and handled in accordance with journal policy.
