About the Journal

Al-Khazini: Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (March and September) by the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar. Al-Khazini: Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika is an integrated forum to communicate the progress of science in the field of physics education. This journal reports significant new findings related to physics education; development of instructional media, development of learning methods, application of learning methods, and several applications of media in physics learning. Al-Khazini: Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika publishes comprehensive research articles and invites reviews from leading experts in their fields. Papers will be selected that have high scientific value, provide important new knowledge, and have high interest. Al-Khazini: Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika was only formed in 2021.

These studies examine various models and methods of teaching physics to enhance student understanding. The first study develops an e-module based on Canva to improve Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the topics of momentum and impulse, aiming to provide interactive learning that encourages critical thinking. The second study applies a mind mapping-based learning model in science education to help students visualize and connect scientific concepts, improving their understanding. The third study explores the application of the Project Based Learning (PBL) model in physics, offering students practical experience through real-world projects to apply theoretical knowledge. The fourth study uses PheT simulations to analyze the relationship between mass and spring constant, providing students with an easier way to understand Hooke's Law. The fifth study assesses Class XII students' understanding of Newton's Laws and provides insights for improving teaching in this area. Finally, the sixth study analyzes students' understanding of fluid mechanics concepts, identifying common misconceptions, and suggesting teaching strategies to improve students' comprehension of fluid dynamics. All these studies aim to enhance student understanding and skills in physics through more effective and interactive teaching methods.
