About the Journal

Sociality: Journal of Public Health Service (e-ISSN: 2962-181X | p-ISSN: 2962-3472) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of Public Health, Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar, Indonesia, since 2022.

The journal is published biannually in February and August and serves as a scholarly platform for advancing knowledge in public health intervention and implementation science, particularly within complex socio-environmental and community-based contexts.

The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality manuscripts on the design, implementation, evaluation, and scale-up of context-sensitive health interventions, with a strong emphasis on community-based programs in rural, urban, and underserved settings, especially in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). It highlights innovative and evidence-based public health service models that integrate local knowledge, ecological risk factors, and system-based approaches to improve population health outcomes, strengthen community empowerment, and support sustainable health systems.

Importantly, Sociality promotes Global South–Global North collaboration in health intervention and implementation science, encouraging cross-country partnerships, knowledge exchange, and capacity building. The journal welcomes contributions from academics, practitioners, and policymakers that reflect real-world implementation, participatory approaches, and multi-sectoral strategies addressing diverse public health challenges.

This journal has been officially accredited as Sinta 4 by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, as stated in Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025.
