Idaarah: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan inspired from the arabic language "Idaarah" means management, office, arrangement, administration, and direction. All of this meaning implies process management. Therefore, the “Idaarah” journal is taken as the name that represents management of islamic education.
Idaarah: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan is a peer-reviewed journal published by Department of Islamic Education Management Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar In collaboration with Perkumpulan Prodi MPI (PPMPI) and Perkumpulan Manajer Pendidikan Indonesia. This journal is dedicated to publish scientific articles in the study of Islamic Education management from different aspects and perspectives.

The journal has been accredited by Akreditasi Jurnal Nasional (ARJUNA) officially Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia SINTA 4 grade since 2019 to 2025 and on reaccreditation increased to SINTA 2 according to Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan Nomor: 295/C/C3/KPT/2026 tentang Peringkat Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah Periode 2 Tahun 2025.
