Jurnal Diskursus Islam

Jurnal Diskursus Islam specializes in Islamic studies in general and contemporary discourse in particular, with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches. The focus is to provide readers with a better understanding of Islamic dynamics and present developments through the publication of highest quality original research articles and current scholarly developments.

 

Scope of the Journal

1 Islamic Theology

Examines classical and modern Islamic belief systems, theological schools of thought (Kalam), and contemporary faith-related discourses.

2 Islamic Law (Fiqh & Sharia)

Covers Islamic jurisprudence, legal theory (Usul al-Fiqh), family law, human rights, and socio-legal dynamics of Sharia in modern society.

3 Islam and Gender

Explores the intersection of gender studies with Islamic teachings, women's rights, family dynamics, and gender equity in Muslim communities.

4 Islamic Education

Focuses on curriculum development, teaching methodologies, Islamic pedagogy, governance, and institutional management of Islamic educational entities.

5 Islamic Mysticism and Philosophy

Investigates Sufism, spiritual dimensions of Islam, classical and contemporary Islamic philosophy, and ethical frameworks.
