Archiving

Komodifikasi: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is committed to the long-term preservation of its content.

• Institutional archive: all issues are stored on the Open Journal Systems server of Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar, with regular backups managed by the university's journal office (Rumah Jurnal LP2M).
• PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): the journal intends to join the LOCKSS-based PKP Preservation Network, which creates a distributed archive among participating libraries for preservation and restoration purposes. Activation is planned following the upgrade of the journal platform.
• Metadata deposit: article metadata will be deposited with Crossref once DOI registration is completed, and with national indexing services (Garuda and Moraref) upon registration.
