Data Sharing Policy
Komodifikasi: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi encourages authors to make the data underlying their findings available to readers whenever legally and ethically possible, to support transparency, reuse, and verification. Authors may deposit data as a supplementary file during submission or in a trusted public repository (e.g., Zenodo, OSF, Harvard Dataverse, or an institutional repository) and cite the dataset in the article.
Every research article must include a Data Availability Statement after the Conclusion, using one of the following forms as appropriate:
- "The datasets generated and/or analyzed during the current study are available in the [NAME] repository, [PERSISTENT LINK]."
- "The data that support the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request."
- "The data are not publicly available due to [ethical/privacy/legal reasons] but are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request."
- "All data generated or analyzed during this study are included in this published article."
- "Data sharing is not applicable to this article as no datasets were generated or analyzed."
Qualitative data such as interview transcripts should be shared only in anonymized form and with participant consent.
