Solusi Persamaan Diferensial Biasa dengan Metode Runge-Kutta Orde Lima

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur dengan menggunakan metode numerik yang digunakan untuk menentukan solusi persamaan diferensial biasa dengan bentuk y'=f(x,y) dengan suatu nilai awal y(x[0])=y[0] yang diberikan. Metode numerik yang digunakan yaitu metode Runge-Kutta Orde Lima. Prinsip kerja dari metode tersebut pada dasarnya adalah menyelesaikan persamaan diferensial biasa dengan menentukan himpunan titik-titik (x, y) dimana untuk menentukan sebuah titik maka kita menggunakan satu titik sebelumnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Runge-Kutta Orde Lima dapat dignakan untuk menentukan solusi persamaan diferensial biasa dan memiliki tingkat ketelitian yang relatif tinggi
