Abstract

Pewarnaan sisi pada graf G adalah pemberian warna untuk setiap sisi pada graf sehingga tidak ada dua sisi yang dipisahkan oleh sebuah titik mempunyai warna sama. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui rumus umum pewarnaan sisi pada graf yang berhubungan dengan sikel berdasarkan pewarnaan sisi dengan algoritma welch powell. Dalam kajian ini, penulis menggunakan graf yang berhubungan dengan sikel yakni graf roda, graf gear, graf helm, graf helm tertutup dan graf bunga. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat diperoleh bahwa rumus umum untuk pewarnaan sisi pada graf yang berhubungan dengan sikel yaitu rumus umum untuk graf Roda adalah χ(??)=?. Rumus umum pewarnaan sisi pada graf Gear adalah χ(??)=?, sedangkan pada graf Helm adalah χ(??)=n+1 untuk ?=3, χ(??)=n untuk ?>3. Rumus umum pewarnaan sisi pada graf Helm Tertutup adalah χ(?̂?)=n+1 untuk ?=3, χ(?̂?)=n untuk ?>3, sedangkan pada graf Bunga adalah χ(??)=2n.
