Abstract

Persamaan logistik yang merupakan persamaan diferensial biasa (PDB) non linear.Salah satu metode numerik yang dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaiakan suatu PDB non linear adalah metode Adams-Bashforth-Moulton.Metode Adams-Bashforth-Moulton merupakan metode multistep yang terdiri dari metode Adams-Bashforth sebagai prediktor dan metode Adams-Moulton sebagai korektor.Persamaan diferensial tersebut terlebih dahulu diselesaikan menggunakan metode Runge Kutta orde empat untuk memperoleh empat solusi awal.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil prediksi pertumbuhan penduduk di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan menggunakan metode Adams-Bashforth-Moulton.Persamaan logistik pada pertumbuhan penduduk dengan ukuran langkah ℎ=1 dan kapasitas tampung Provinsi Sul-Sel yaitu??=20.000.000, dengan laju pertumbuhan 2%. Solusi numerik persamaan logistik pertumbuhan penduduk pada saat ??=2020 dengan ukuran langkah yang optimal ℎ=1 adalah 8.944.168 jiwa.
